Skinny Tequila Cocktail Recipe: The Paloma
Tequila is a polarizing liquor. Some people hate it, others swear by it. If you're in the latter category, and opt Tequila in your cocktails but you’re trying to avoid all the sugar and calories in a Margarita, then you must try our Paloma recipe. A Paloma is a classic tequila-based cocktail typically made with sparkling grapefruit juice. It’s simple and really lets a good tequila shine. Our favorite is Blanco Casamigos (yup, George Clooney's Tequilla!) We wanted to make this classic cocktail even more appealing by concocting a skinny version.

2 medium grapefruits
2 Tbs of Organic Agave syrup
1 lime, cut into slices
3 ounces Casamigos Blanco Tequila
In a saucepan over low heat, squeeze the juice of the two grapefruits. Slowly stir in your agave syrup. Once it’s combined, let cool and then strain into a pitcher. In two highball glasses over ice, pour the cool grapefruit simple syrup, then 1 shot Casamigos Blanco (1 and 1/2 ounces) into each glass. Then, fill to brim with sparkling water and garnish with a lime wedge.
